Marker Bot

Marker Bot is the world’s first writing device that can mimic your handwriting. Edit letters, assignments, posters and essays, all on a computer, then use Marker Bot to write them in your own handwriting, all without holding a pencil.

Handwriting documents can be a pain. It’s time consuming, mistakes are difficult to correct, and the end result can often be smudged and generally messy. Marker Bot solves this, by giving you the speed, editing ability, and neatness of documents on a computer. After you teach it your handwriting, you can give it any text document to write out automatically.

Up And Running In No Time!

  1. Using your phone or tablet, open the Style Input app at app.markerbot.ml/StyleInput.html. Select your desired handwriting quality, and use a stylus to enter your handwriting into the boxes. When you’re done, click ‘Export Style’. Note: Currently, to export handwriting, you should click 'Save To URL' and then copy everything after (and including) the "#" in the URL.

  2. Open the Handwriting Generator app at app.markerbot.ml/WritingGenerator.html. Import your handwriting style, then paste in the text you want to write. Click ‘Generate Handwriting’, and save the resulting SVG. Note: Currently, to import handwriting, just paste the "#" and everything following it (that you copied previously when exporting) onto the end of the URL.

  3. On a Windows PC, open the Printer Controller program supplied with your Marker Bot. Connect the Marker Bot via a micro-usb cable, select the SVG from the previous step, and click print.
